Worcester Bosch – Easy Control
The new smart internet-connected heating and hot water thermostat from Bosch makes everything easy and gives you complete control. Achieving the perfect environment has never been so easy – you can decide the times, temperatures and which rooms you want to heat, all from your smart device, wherever you are.
Easy to use: The app and control interface makes it simple to tailor hot water demand and the heating times and temperatures in each room, to achieve the comfort you want.
Easy to manage: The app provides you easy-to-understand graphs on your gas consumption for heating and hot water – it even has the ability to include current gas prices to give you accurate readings.
The display shows how efficient your heating programmes are, so you can adjust setting to keep energy use at an optimum level.
Smart connected compatibility: Coming soon, the EasyControl will be able to seamlessly integrate with your smart connected home. Control your heating with your voice through Amazon Alexa, or connect it with other smart connected products using IFTTT.
Home presence detection:
Let the EasyControl take over, using the latest technology, the thermostat senses your presence and anticipates your routines, saving energy when you’re out and about while ensuring the house is warm for when you return.
What’s more, it’s the only smart internet-connected thermostat engineered specifically for Worcester’s award-winning boiler range. By installing a Bosch EasyControl with any of Worcester’s award-winning combi boilers, it will also be compliant with the new Boiler Plus legislation.
Individual room control:
With the EasyControl and Bosch Smart Radiator Thermostats (Smart TRVs) you can easily control the heating in each individual room to give maximum comfort when and where you want it. So if you prefer sleeping at 17.5°C, but would like to step into a warm bathroom at 7am, simply set your desired temperature via the EasyControl app. An integrated sensor will continuously monitor the room temperature to keep it at your desired level. Several time-controlled settings are possible per day, and you can also set different times for every day of the week.
Wave Smart Control
The Worcester Wave is a smart, internet connected programmable control for central heating and hot water which can be operated using a smart device.
This control is designed to have an 'intelligent conversation' with the boiler, the Wave takes advantage of advanced control features such as weather and load compensation along with home presence detection. Achieves an A+ ErP package efficiency rating for heating when combined with a Greenstar combi boiler
Simple to use:
- The Wave's intuitive and modern design ensures it is very simple to operate using either its in-built touchscreen or via the Wave app.
- Simply download the Wave app to your compatible device to take control of your heating system from anywhere in the world where an internet connection is available.
- The Wave app. allows you to make adjustments to your required room temperature whenever you like. It also allows you to choose the times that you want the hot water to be on, and what temperature your central heating should reach while it is on.
- It will allow you to select different temperatures in your home at different times of the day (and days of the week) to meet your comfort needs.
- The wave learns and adapts to the homeowners behaviour. Heating and hot water charts help to identify potential savings
Simple to fit:
- The Wave is easy to install, requiring just a low voltage 2-core wire connection between the control and the boiler. All other connections are via the Wi-Fi network.
- Unlike standard weather compensation controls, the Wave does not need an external wired sensor. Instead, the Wave uses online data which significantly reduces installation time and cost.
- The Wave is compatible with many Greenstar gas-fired boilers and it can also be retrofitted for use with some previous Worcester appliances.

Adapting to your needs:
- Each Wave control is supplied with a pre-set programme that can then be easily modified to suit your requirements.
- The Wave is highly adaptable and can be programmed to 'pair' with up to eight devices, which it automatically sense when people are at home. However, sensing to an individual device can be turned off if required.
- Unlike most other smart heating controls, the Wave can also programme the hot water settings, providing additional energy savings and comfort.
- The Wave will remember preferred programme settings to make these easily available and features a 'holiday programme', requiring just a start and finish date.
- For security and peace of mind, all the Wave's data is owned by the user, ensuring no information is shared with other parties.
Enhanced energy efficiency.
The Wave's advanced programming enables it to have an 'intelligent conversation' with the boiler to take advantage of control features such as weather and load compensation. This ensures that the boiler modulates its performance to meet the needs of each household, providing the optimum balance of comfort and efficiency.
The Wave app allows you to see a chart of your heating and hot water usage so that you can easily identify where potential savings could be made.
For example, when you turn your room temperature down a leaf symbol will appear to indicate additional savings are being made.
In the forthcoming ErP Directive (Energy-related Products Directive) coming out of Europe, smart thermostats like the Wave are recognised as improving the system efficiency by at least 4%, resulting in lower fuel bills.
Nest Thermostat
Your thermostat controls 60% of your energy bill. So shouldn’t it help you save energy?
The Nest thermostat learns from you. It gets to know the temperature you like when you’re at home. And turns itself down when you’re away. It even learns how your home warms up or how draughty it is, so it only uses the energy it needs.
Hot water control: You can control your hot water storage with the nest thermostat; it comes with a hot water schedule which you can adjust with the Nest app. You can boost the hot water using the app and when you’re away for a few days you don’t have to remember to turn off the hot water. The Nest thermostat will do that for you.
How much have you saved?: Nest shows you how much energy you use everyday in Energy History and every month in your Home Report. You can see when you use more energy and how to use less
Follow the leaf: Change the temperature to save energy and you will be rewarded with a leaf. The leaf learns how to help you save, so it appears at different temperatures for different families.
It lights up when you walk in the room: The Nest thermostat does something new, its called Farsight, and it lights up to show you the temperature, weather or time. You can even choose a digital or analogue clock face. Farsight is big and bright on the beautiful display- you can see it from across the room
